Train the Trainer Risk Assessment Focus Training – For Delivery Drivers
I Wrote a Risk assessment course for to train delivery drivers to become risk assessors while out delivering to homes (Room of Choice – Door Step Delivery – Delivering to Shops) Back in the 90’S and early 2000’s Arthur Williams has taught this training to thousands of Class 1 & Class 2 Delivery Drivers delivering Beds to customers- The reason for this training was the company I was working for they Accident Statistics was very high from Manual Handling Injuries whilst carryout home delivery service.
I travelled all over the Uk England – Wales – Scotland & Northern Ireland & Southern Ireland training drivers how to be come risk assessors whilst making Room of choice – Door Step and Shop deliveries.
I have carried out this training at Benson for beds – Harveys Furniture – Health Beds – Harrison Spinks Beds – Silentnight Beds – Edwardian Bedding I have just signed up to continue at the above companies on a Train the Trainer basis which will be a large contract for Arthur Williams ongoing.
Arthur Williams as trained 80 class 2 home delivery drivers on Focus Training Risk Assessment since January 2019 and has another 200 further Drivers at various companies AW is contacting Home Delivery companies all over the Yorkshire region & UK to sell this successful product
This training can be adopted to any deliverer company once all drivers are trained you have provided them with information Instruction and Training thus filling your Legal obligation under the Health and Safety at work act plus the type of training allows the delivery drivers to make on the spot risk assessments on whether the delivery is safe to make plus this type on training will reduce your accident statistics in which compensation can be quite costly.
Construction Site Awareness Course to be done monthly at Neil Stones Business this is a new course designed for Principal Contractors to use as part of the Sub Contractors Health and Safety Assessment similar to the CSCS Assessment but in house trained over 85 on this course so far really proud
